Donia Kamal is an Egyptian author who studied English
and works in TV production. Her second novel, Cigarette
Number Seven, won the Sawiris Emerging Writers Prize
and was translated into English and Italian.
Kamal has also produced more than fifty documentary
films and numerous TV shows. She lives between Egypt
and the UAE.
