Dima al-Shukr

An acclaimed Syrian literary critic, translator, and novelist born in Damascus and based in Paris. Holding advanced credentials in classical Arabic literature, she is the co-author of foundational studies on Arabic poetics and prosody and has translated major French intellectual works, including writings by Régis Debray and Jean-Pierre Filiu.
